Flagstaff/Sedona City Guide

At an elevation of 7,000 feet with a surrounding landscape of mountains and ponderosa pine forest, Flagstaff defies Arizona's reputation for flat, dry desert. The city's temperate climate, gorgeous landscape, and cultural and historical attractions make it an ideal place for a getaway. The nearby San Francisco Peaks offer a gorgeous mountain playground, and other natural wonders abound. Flagstaff is steeped in Southwestern history and culture, and, as the home of Northern Arizona University, it has outstanding dining and nightlife options. The city is not only a gateway to the Grand Canyon, but a worthwhile destination on its own.
