Long Beach City Guide

Found along the coast of Southern California, Long Beach is home to one of the largest shipping ports in North America. Because of the city's ideal location, it has attracted visitors for generations. From touring the Queen Mary, an opulent ocean liner of the mid-1900s, to visiting the Aquarium of the Pacific, one of the largest aquariums in the world, Long Beach's sights and attractions are ample. Many activities are ocean-centric, and for good reason. Long Beach's stretch of coastline is generally calm and attractive. A variety of marine life, including dolphins and whales, populates the area, and small islands sit just a few miles offshore. Of course, the city also has plenty of urban pursuits ranging from art galleries to concert venues.
