48 Jews - What it Means to be Jewish
This will be a series of painted Warhol-esque portraits by Absalom Jac Lahav of famous Jews that celebrates and questions our notions of what it means to be Jewish. The images will be gathered from contemporary media sources and selected for their iconic quality. Some included are: Anne Frank, Elie Weisel, Bob Dylan, Gertrude Stein, Alan Greenspan, and Leonard Nimoy.
Adrienne Arsht Center: Behind-the-Scenes
Gray Line Miami provides transportation to the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts for a behind-the-scenes exploration. On this staff-led tour you will be privileged to see the magnificent Art in Public Places installations created by renowned artists. Take in dramatic views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline from the Center's upper tiers, as well as the Biscayne Boulevard pedestrian bridge. Walk through all the theaters, from lobbies to stages. Enjoy glimpses into stars' dressing rooms, private meeting rooms and lounges not open to the public. Depending on the schedule, you might view first-hand the loading in or out of a production. You'll hear insider information about the Center's architecture, history and the many stars (such as Bernadette Peters, Itzhak Perlman and Gloria Estefan) who have graced its stages.

Art and Design in the Modern Age provides an intriguing overview of The Wolfsonian's exceptional holdings and showcases the museum's collection, which spans the period 1885 to 1945. The nearly 300 works on display provide insight into the ways design has influenced and adapted to the modern world. The installation explores the many focal points of The Wolfsonian's collection, including design-reform movements, architecture, urbanism, industrial design, transportation, world's fairs, advertising, political propaganda, and labor iconography.
Art Deco South Beach Bike Tour
The best way to discover South Beach while enjoying the great outdoors is by bike! This celebrated Bike and Roll Art Deco Tour includes it all: architecture, history, culture, beach life and good times. It is an easy ride filled with fun for all ages and fitness levels.
The tour begins in the heart of South Beach at 10th and Collins in the famous Art Deco district. You will stop for a visit to Casa Casuarina (the Versace Mansion). The ride continues along the beachfront to Lincoln Road Theater. Then a stop will be made at Holocaust Memorial. There will also stops at the Botanical Gardens and Bass Art Museum. To stay cool in the Miami heat, you'll stop for a quick dip at Nikki Beach (optional). There will also be time to enjoy some refreshments (at your own expense) at Monty's restaurant/bar on the Miami Beach Marina, a local favorite.

The best way to understand and appreciate the buildings of the Art Deco District is to view them at close-range, thereby experiencing the structures in context. A walking tour affords the opportunity to learn more about the history of the city of Miami Beach, the history of the Miami Design Preservation League, and the buildings themselves.
Conducted by local historians and architects, this tour provides an introduction to the Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival and Miami Modern styles found throughout the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District. It is a 90-minute walking tour with ample chances to explore hotels, restaurants and other commercial structures inside and out.

Artwalk - November
Downtown Hollywood hosts a free monthly ArtWalk on the third Saturday of each month, showcasing some of the unique local galleries, shops, and restaurants in its historic downtown art and entertainment district.
The ArtWalk starts at the Comfort Zone Studio and Spa, 2028 Harrison Street, and continues throughout the downtown. Enjoy an enchanted evening strolling Downtown Hollywood's quaint, tree-lined sidewalks while being serenaded by the sounds of a jazz saxophone, or the soft strings of a violin or harp. Look over the shoulder of an artist painting in the street and visit the art galleries and businesses showcasing local, regional and international artwork.
Attendees receive a map of participating galleries and stores that guide them on a picturesque pedestrian experience.
Complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres are served by participating businesses. A wide range of art on display will be available for sale at the ArtWalk.
