•  Petroglyph Beach
  
  A collection of petroglyphs, which are early forms of native artwork, can be found on rocks along this beach in Wrangell. A boardwalk provides access to view more than 50 different petroglyphs, and replicas of several designs are displayed on the deck for visitors to make pencil rubbings on.

•  Chief Shakes Island
  
  This island, dedicated to the famous Tlingit leader, is located in the town's protected harbor. A footbridge leads to the Chief Shakes Tribal House, a replica of an authentic clan dwelling created with intricate details. Surrounding the house are several totem poles carved with traditional designs.

•  Anan Bear and Wildlife Observatory
  
  Anan Creek is an ancient Tlingit native fishing site that pulls double duty as a restaurant for bears enticed by the area's salmon population. Accessible only by boat or plane, the area is home to a covered deck built by the U.S. Forest Service that allows visitors to watch the bears from a safe distance.
