Bonus miles for the Alaska Airlines Credit Card enrollment will post to the primary cardholder's Mileage Plan account within 4-6 weeks after approval.

Bank of America offers different enrollment promotions for the various Alaska Airlines Credit Card products they offer. It is important that you read the details of the promotion you are applying for, and enroll for the specific credit card the promotion advertises. If you apply for, but are not approved for, a specific card product then Bank of America may consider you for a different credit card which may offer a lower amount of bonus miles than the credit card you originally applied for.

The amount of bonus miles issued for new credit card accounts differs from the amount issued for upgrading your current Alaska Airlines Credit Card. Different enrollment promotions are offered from time to time.

The Platinum Plus Visa, Signature Visa, and Canadian Platinum Plus MasterCard have a Companion Certificate as an annual benefit. This companion fare allows you to buy one published fare on Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air, and your companion flies with you to any Alaska/Horizon destination for only $50 (plus applicable taxes).

The Bank of America Companion Certificate is an electronic certificate that can be accessed through your Discount Codes when you sign in to your My Account profile. The certificate is issued once a year and is automatically added to your My Account profile. The link to view your Discount Codes is located on the right-hand side of the My Account Welcome screen.

Your Bank of America Companion Certificate can be applied to a new reservation through our Web site. Your reservation must be made for 2 people traveling on the same itinerary, one way or round trip. When filling out your flight information for a new reservation, you will see a field to type in your "Discount Code." After continuing, you will get to the Reservation Details page where the companion fare will be reflected as $50 (plus applicable taxes). From here you can continue and enter your billing information, which will generate a 6-letter confirmation code and a completed reservation. You can also use your Discount Code when making Reservations over the phone with Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air, for a small processing fee.

Our system does not allow you to store an Discount Code in a held reservation. In order to apply an Discount Code to a held reservation, you will need to retrieve the held record and click on the link to "Enter a Discount Code" located under the Fare Summary and Purchase Options. Once entered, you will need to continue with your purchase.

The Bank of America Companion Certificate for the Alaska Airlines Credit Card will be entered into the primary cardholder's My Account within 4-6 weeks after approval, and then on an annual basis dependant on your enrollment anniversary date.

The expiration date listed for your Bank of America Companion Certificate indicates the date you must redeem your certificate and ticket your reservation by. As long as your reservation has been purchased before your certificate expires, travel using the Companion Certificate can be completed after the expiration date.

Alaska Airlines Credit Card miles post to your Mileage Plan account 7-10 days after the billing cycle for your bank statement. The mileage credit given is dependent on how many "purchases" you've made during that particular billing cycle, not according to the payment amount made towards your bill.

You can cancel your Alaska Airlines Credit Card by calling Bank of America directly at 1-800-552-7302. Canceling your credit card account will not affect the miles already credited to your Mileage Plan account.

The primary credit card holder is the only person who earns credit card miles into his or her own Mileage Plan account. Each individual has their own Mileage Plan account number that cannot be shared, even if more than one person holds a credit card linked to the same bank account.

The Bank of America Business Credit Card includes the benefit of an annual $99 Companion Certificate. It is a paper certificate that is mailed to you about 4-6 weeks after you are approved for your credit card, and then sent out each year for your enrollment anniversary. To redeem this certificate, please read the terms and conditions provided on the certificate.

You will not receive mileage credit for any balance transfers to your Alaska Airlines Credit Card, or for using convenience checks issued by Bank of America.

If you didn't provide your existing Mileage Plan number during the Alaska Airlines Credit Card application process, then Bank of America will automatically enroll you in our Mileage Plan program and assign you a new Mileage Plan number. To combine duplicate Mileage Plan accounts, please contact Alaska Airlines Customer Care at 1-800-654-5669.

As a one-time only benefit, on a trial basis, we offer complimentary Board Room passes to our new Platinum and Signature Visa cardholders, as well as our new Canadian Platinum Plus MasterCard holders. This benefit allows you to experience and enjoy what our Board Room has to offer.

In order for your credit card purchases to post correctly to your Mileage Plan account, the name on your credit card must match the name listed in your Mileage Plan account. If you've updated or changed your name with Bank of America, please contact Customer Care at 1-800-654-5669 to have it updated on your Mileage Plan. It is important to use your legal first and last name because your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account is linked to your legal forms of identification required for travel.

Some of the credit cards offered by Bank of America have an annual cap on the amount of miles you can earn. If you hold one of these credit cards and have reached your mileage cap for the year, please contact Bank of America at 1-800-552-7302 (for existing cardholders) to request an upgrade to a higher level Alaska Airlines Credit Card. Our Signature and Platinum Plus Credit Cards do not have an annual mileage cap.

If you returned purchased items back to your Alaska Airlines Credit Card that had previously earned miles, you may see a deduction of miles on your Mileage Plan account that reflects those returns.

The Bank of America Companion Certificate is valid on published fares through alaskaair.com or over the phone with Alaska/Horizon Reservations. Fares include First Class, Web Specials ("W"), e-deals ("IO"), and Internet Only ("IO").
