“North America” Definitions

Please Note that each of our partners may interpret “North America” differently. Following is a description of the areas included when referring to “North America.”

Air France/KLM: United States (excluding Hawaii), Canada, Greenland, Norfolk Island, and Mexico.

American Airlines: All 50 U.S. states, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Continental Airlines: Continental U.S., Canada, Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. When traveling to Mexico, the Caribbean or Central America, North America includes the Continental U.S. and Canada only. Central America is excluded when referring to travel between North America and South America.

Delta Air Lines: All 50 U.S. states, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean.

Northwest Airlines: Refers to the continental U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. When traveling to Hawaii, Mexico or the Caribbean, North America includes the continental U.S. only.
