What are E-Statements?
E-Statements are Mileage Plan™ activity statements sent via e-mail.
What are the benefits of subscribing to E-Statements?
E-Statements offer several key advantages:
Do E-Statements contain the same information as paper statements did?
Yes. E-Statements include details on flight and partner activity in the period covered. They also include an account summary, a progress update on earning or renewing MVP or MVP Gold status, Mileage Plan news, and partner offers. Additionally, E-Statements offer links to up-to-date Mileage Plan information on alaskaair.com, such as award charts, current promotions, and the online version of our Freddie Award-winning newsletter, The Traveler.
Are E-Statements the same as the alaskaair.com newsletter?
No, they are separate. Choose to receive E-Statements, the weekly alaskaair.com newsletter, or both by checking the E-Statements box and/or the Mileage Plan interests box in your My Account profile. To stay up-to-date on Mileage Plan and Alaska Airlines news, we recommend signing up for both.
What do E-Statements look like?
E-Statements are available in two formats:
How do I subscribe to E-Statements?
Can anyone subscribe to E-Statements?
Anyone 13 years of age or older, or under 13 with parent/guardian consent, who has both a Mileage Plan account and a My Account profile can subscribe to E-Statements. Mileage Plan membership is available to any individual. Due to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, information can only be received in My Account profiles for users 13 years of age or older.
When will I start getting E-Statements?
Subscribe to E-Statements by the 8th of a given month and you'll receive an E-Statement for that month.
How often will I receive an E-Statement?
Every month, regardless of whether you had activity during that month.
Can I save my E-Statement to my computer and view it when I'm offline?
Yes. In fact, we recommend it be saved offline for future reference.
When I sign up for E-Statements, will Alaska Airlines be able to send other account-specific information to me via e-mail?
Yes. Signing up for E-Statements includes permission for Alaska Airlines to send other Mileage Plan account-specific information to you via email. This may include information regarding progress toward a promotion, notification of qualification for a promotion or tier status, Board Room renewal notices, and customer service communications such as confirmation of retro activity credits. You will also continue to receive some communications via postal mail, such as new membership cards, MVP or MVP Gold membership cards, and occasional promotional and customer service communications.
Will signing up for E-Statements allow other companies to use my e-mail address?
No, our Privacy Policy protects your e-mail address from being shared with anyone outside of Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air.
What if I change my e-mail address?
Your E-Statements will be interrupted until we have the correct e-mail address. Update your e-mail address in your My Account profile at any time.
Can I still check my Mileage Plan account online at alaskaair.com?
Yes, Check Your Account online anytime.
