Reserve PenAir and Era Aviation award travel by calling 1-800-ALASKAAIR(1-800-252-7522).
Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible as seats are limited and capacity controlled. Generally, reservations can be booked 330 days in advance. You can cancel or make one change to your U.S., Canada, or Mexico award reservation within 24 hours of purchase and have your miles redeposited with no fee. You can change or cancel your International award reservation within 72 hours of purchase and have your miles redeposited without penalty. Alaska Airlines assesses a $100 (USD) per person change fee for changing a confirmed itinerary through an Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air Reservations Call Center or Airport Ticket Counter and $75 (USD) change fee for changes made at alaskaair.com. Change fees are waived for MVP Gold members. Changes to an award reservation may require the use of additional miles.
Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air must issue all tickets for Partner Award reservations. Electronic tickets will be issued whenever possible. Taxes will be collected at time of ticket issuance by Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air.

What type of routing am I allowed on a Partner reservation?
A stopover means stopping in a city en route to or from your final destination. An open jaw is flying into one city and returning from a different city, back to your original city of departure. Stopovers and open jaws are allowed, however the policies vary from airline to airline.
- Both Northwest and Continental Airlines require a Saturday night stay on domestic Award reservations.
- All domestic awards for travel to/from the lower 48 states and Canada allow a round-trip or open-jaw itinerary. Contact the Partner Desk at 1-800-307-6912 for information on open-jaw itinerary routing restrictions.
- Policies regarding domestic stopovers vary from airline to airline. Contact the Partner Desk at 1-800-307-6912 for information on stopover itinerary restrictions.
- International Awards allow at least one en route stopover and/or an open jaw, but not both on all partner airlines. The stopover must be at a city in the published routing between the city of origin and the final destination.
Can I make changes to my reservations?
Yes, you can cancel or make one change to your U.S., Canada, or Mexico award reservation within 24 hours of purchase and have your miles redeposited with no fee. You can change or cancel your International award reservation within 72 hours of purchase and have your miles redeposited without penalty. Changes or cancellations made after the grace period will incur a $100 (USD) per person change fee when changing a confirmed itinerary through an Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air Reservations Call Center or Airport Ticket Counter and $75 (USD) change fee for changes made at alaskaair.com.
Who do I contact for seat selections, special meals, wheelchair assistance, unaccompanied minor information, international documentation requirements, infant information, or other special needs on a partner reservation?
You must contact the airline on which you are flying. If you are flying on an itinerary with a destination that involves more than one airline you must contact the airline that actually flies the segment on which you need the special service. Example: Anchorage to Seattle on Alaska Airlines and Seattle to Minneapolis on Northwest Airlines. You would call Alaska Airlines for any special needs on the Anchorage to Seattle flight and Northwest Airlines for any special needs on the Seattle to Minneapolis flight.
