The digEplayer is a convenient handheld device which uses video-on-demand technology to deliver a spectrum of inflight entertainment choices. Get your pick of over 9 movies (3 not yet available for rental), 10 categories of music ranging from classical to country, or view television shows, destination information, airport maps, and more.

Unlike traditional inflight entertainment systems, the state-of-the-art digEplayer literally puts the choice of what to watch or listen to in the hands of customers in the form of a device about the size of a portable DVD player, but with superior audio and video quality.

How to rent a digEplayer

Renting a digEplayer is easy. When traveling between any of the cities listed above (except those marked with an asterisk), you can reserve your digEplayer at least 24 hours in advance for $12 (USD). Registration is required. Be sure to print out your receipt and bring it with you on your flight.

On flights between San Jose and Austin, as well as, Seattle and Anchorage, Austin, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Fairbanks, Houston or Minneapolis, digEplayers are available for $6.

digEplayers can also be rented onboard the aircraft on the day of your flight. Availability is limited, so it's best to reserve online. For all first class passengers flying the above routes, digEplayers are complimentary and do not require a reservation.

Onboard purchases can be made with any major credit or debit card. To accommodate Alaska residents who do not currently have a debit or credit card, $6 vouchers can be purchased at all of our ticket counters in the state of Alaska.
