In every year since 2002, the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler magazine has ranked Horizon Air among the top 5 domestic single-class airlines. The annual survey of the magazine's business travelers is published in the magazine's October issue.

Top 10 Domestic Airlines 2004-2008Travel+Leisure magazine is widely considered to be one of the premier publications in the travel industry. From 2004 to 2008, Travel+Leisure readers voted Horizon Air among the top 10 domestic airlines as part of the publication's annual "World's Best Awards." Travel+Leisure scores airlines in five areas: cabin comfort, food, inflight service, customer service and value.

In 2009, Horizon Air received the FAA's highest award for the 10th consecutive year. Established in 1991, the FAA's Aviation Maintenance Technician program honors aviation maintenance personnel and employers who participate in training opportunities that exceed FAA regulatory requirements.

Regional Airline of the Year 2007Horizon Air was named "Regional Airline of the Year" in 2007 by Air Transport World, the airline industry's leading publication. The Freddie Awards are considered the most prestigious consumer-generated honors in the travel industry. These InsideFlyer magazine awards are based on votes by frequent fliers. Mileage Plan was named Program of the Year at the 21st Annual Freddie Awards for the fifth year. Also received were first-place honors for Best Elite-Level Program for the fourth consecutive year and Best Web Site for the sixth year.
