The Freddie Awards are considered the most prestigious consumer-generated honors in the travel industry. The InsideFlyer magazine awards are based on votes by frequent Flyers. The Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan was named Program of the Year at the 20th Annual Freddie Awards. This is the fourth year that Mileage Plan has been named Program of the Year. Alaska also received first-place honors for Best Elite-Level Program for the third consecutive year and Best Website for the fifth year.

Best Domestic Carrier 2005Alaska Airlines was rated the No. 1 airline in Condé Nast Traveler magazine's 2005 Business Travel Awards. Published in the October issue, the annual survey of the magazine's business travelers rated Alaska the top domestic airline for coach and first-class service. Alaska received the highest ratings for its cabin service and frequent flier privileges, and scored in the top two for value for cost; food and beverages; and seat comfort and legroom.

Best Innovation: Web Check-in 2005Alaska Airlines was named one of the "100 Best of America" in Reader's Digest Magazine's annual compilation of the 100 best people, places, ideas and innovations in America. Alaska Airlines won "Best Airline Innovation" for being the pioneer of online check-in.
