Resource Groups
Alaska Airlines employees create networks within the company that reach across boundaries in order to strengthen our business. These groups provide valuable feedback about the workings of our programs and policies; ensure that we connect with the communities in which we work and serve, and promote diversity awareness to the entire company.
- Black Employee Resource Group (BERG): This group contributes to company objectives by ensuring the professional development of its members, and serving as a resource to other Alaska Airlines employees. They provide activities, advise and company leadership in driving retention initiatives.
- Gay, Lesbian or Bisexual Employees (GLOBE): Organized to be a resource for LGBT employees, and to educate fellow employees. GLOBE plays a major role in assuring that Alaska Airlines connects with our LGBT customers and communities by participating and organizing events.
- Latin Culture Steering Committee (LCRG): The LCRG was formed as an advocacy group to foster an inclusive environment that attracts, and retains Hispanic employees at all levels of our company. Their mission is to positively contribute to our company's success and our diversity and inclusion goals.
- Young Generations Employee Network (YGen): YGen provides social and networking opportunities for younger employees. The group also supports Alaska Airlines' company goals, ensuring the company appeals to younger generations of customers and potential new employees.
