Rule 392AS - Return Check Service Charge
AS will collect a service charge of USD 25.00, or the maximum permitted by applicable state law, if less. This charge is nonrefundable and is not subject to any discount.
Rule 6015AS - Passengers on Stretchers
AS will accept passengers on stretchers subject to advance arrangements, availability of space and appropriate equipment.
- Attendants: At least one attendant must accompany the passenger, care for him/her during the trip, and occupy a seat adjoining those occupied by the stretcher passenger.
- Loading and Unloading: This is the responsibility of the attendant(s), and any expense incurred for other attendants/ambulances/hospitalization/other ground services will be borne by the passenger.
- Charges/Fares: The one-way charge for the stretcher passenger includes one stretcher, patient, attendant and one accompanying escort. The cost for stretcher transportation is calculated as the equivalent of 9 (nine) applicable Y/YAS coach class fares.
- Baggage allowance: Standard checked baggage charges and waivers apply for each ticket purchased.
Rule 6020AS - Passengers Occupying Two Seats
- Upon advance arrangement and payment before travel on the first ticketed segment and subject to space availability, a passenger may occupy two adjacent seats on any Alaska or Horizon operated flight. The second seat will be purchased at the same fare paid for the first seat. A ticket will be issued for each seat. Customers who are unable to lower both armrests and/or who encroach upon any portion of the adjacent seat should proactively book the number of seats needed prior to travel.
