Paying for Your Ticket

When purchasing tickets at alaskaair.com, payment with a credit or debit card is required within 24 hours of the original booking. If purchasing an award ticket, immediate payment is required.

Where to Pay

Reservations can be purchased through our Web site, over the phone with an Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air Reservations call center, or in person at an Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air airport ticket counter. Tickets must be issued within 24 hours of the original booking. A $15 ticketing fee applies to all purchases made over the phone or at the airport ticket counter.

Cash

Cash payment is accepted at any Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air airport ticket counter.

Credit Cards

The following credit cards are accepted:

• Alaska Airlines MasterCard
• Alaska Airlines Commercial Account
• American Express
• Diners Club
• Discover Card
• MasterCard
• Universal Air Travel Plan
• Visa

We are unable to accept certain foreign-issued cards. In addition, one-time use credit card numbers provided by some credit card companies are permitted only if tickets are purchased at least 6 days before departure.

Debit Cards

Debit cards are accepted for ticket payment, but here are some details to keep in mind:

• All debit cards must have the Visa or MasterCard logo.
• Some banks may limit your per-transaction amount.
• Delays can occur when charges are reversed on a debit card.
• Bank processing times vary for removing the hold against your account.

alaskaair.com Discount Codes

Our Discount Codes are electronic documents that can be applied towards the cost of your ticket for travel on Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air. They're only valid for discounts off the base fare and exclude government-imposed taxes and fees. You can't use them for any other types of purchases or fees and they don't have any cash value. Discount Codes are valid for one year from the date of issue.

Discount Codes can only be redeemed on alaskaair.com. Discount Codes cannot be used at the ticket counter, travel agencies, other airlines, or other travel Web sites.

When the value of your Discount Codes exceeds the ticket price, the remaining amount is forfeited.
