Online Ticket Change Enhancements (Updated August 10, 2009)

Effective October 14, 2009: Purchased Reservations to Canada and Mexico can now be changed online.

Effective October 7, 2009: Customers with fully unused Refundable tickets can cancel and refund at alaskaair.com with 2 options:

Refund to the original form of payment
Email the ticket number for future use

Effective July 29, 2009: Award Reservations to Canada and Mexico can now be changed online.

Effective June 24, 2009: Reservations with Dollar off discounts can now be changed online.

Effective May 20, 2009:

Reservations using a Companion Ticket Discount Code can now be changed online.
Most past-dated tickets (with no reservation attached) can now be changed online by using the ticket number for lookup.
Travel agency issued tickets can now be changed online.

Effective April 29, 2009: Domestic Partner Awards can now be changed online.

Effective February 19, 2009: Money & Miles Awards can now be changed online.

Secure Flight Information (Updated August 10, 2009)

Secure Flight is a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) program that will allow for uniform watch list matching by the TSA. This program is designed to enhance the security of commercial air travel.

To ensure compliance with this program, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air will begin collecting Secure Flight Information. Effective August 12, 2009, when purchasing a ticket at alaskaair.com, customers will be required to provide full legal name, gender, birth date, and redress number, if available. Please visit our Secure Flight Information page for further information.

Last Seats Remaining Display (Updated July 1, 2009)

We've added a new feature to our shop by schedule option.
Now, when you shop by schedule, you'll see this icon when there are 4 or fewer seats remaining at a certain price.

Multi-City Shopping by Schedule (Updated March 18, 2009)

Multi-city shopping is now easier than ever. Now, instead of bundling flights together for you, alaskaair.com gives you the option shop by "schedule" on multi-city trips.

Pick each flight individually to create the exact trip you want, every time. But don't worry—if you still prefer to have your flights bundled for you by the lowest fare, you can still chose to shop by "price" instead.

International Awards Online (Updated March 4, 2009)

Thinking about a trip to Europe? Asia? South America? International Award shopping is now available at alaskaair.com for Partner Awards on American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Northwest Airlines.
