Credit Certificate Terms & Conditions

• Credit Certificates may be sent to you via email if you cancel or exchange a nonrefundable Alaska Airlines ticket.
• Credit Certificate(s) may be deposited in My Wallet. See My Wallet Terms and Conditions for more information.
• A fee of $75 may apply to have your Credit Certificate issued. This fee cannot be satisfied from Credit Certificates.
• Your Credit Certificate will remain valid for 12 months from the issuance date of your original ticket, or 30 days from the date of exchange/cancellation, whichever is greater.
• If you reissue or cancel a ticket that you purchased with multiple credits from your My Wallet account, you will be given a single Credit Certificate that will expire 12 months from the issuance date of your original ticket or 30 days days from the date of exchange/cancellation, whichever is greater.
• Credit Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash, check or gift certificate, or credited back to a charge card.
• Credit Certificate value is stated and calculated in U.S. dollars.
• Credit Certificates are not available when canceling or exchanging non-revenue or industry tickets.
• You may redeem Credit Certificate(s) when purchasing a new ticket online at alaskaair.com or horizonair.com. Credit Certificates cannot be redeemed through a travel agency or any other source.
• Credit Certificates cannot be redeemed through a travel agency or any other source.
• Up to 4 Credit Certificates can be applied on the billing page toward one travel reservation.
• Credit Certificates may be applied online towards the fare, plus applicable taxes and government-imposed fees, on any new ticket. Service charges, change and reissue fees, and checked baggage charges must be paid for with another form of payment.
• Credit Certificates may be applied to tickets on operated by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, Penair between Anchorage and Dutch Harbor, and SkyWest Flight Series 3450-3499.
• If your Credit Certificate is insufficient to cover the full cost of your new ticket, you can pay the difference with a credit card or other form of payment. If the new ticket price is less than your Credit Certificate, a credit balance will remain on the certificate until it is decreased to zero.
• Credit Certificates are not transferable and will be forfeited if bartered or sold.
• Credit Certificates cannot be used to purchase Alaska Airlines Vacations packages, air cargo services, Fly & Buy Miles™, Board Room membership, on-board services, food or beverages, goods or services offered by Mileage Plan™ partners, gift certificates, trip protection, or hotel and car reservations.
• Credit Certificates are forfeited if obtained or used in an illegal or fraudulent manner, or through unauthorized persons or channels.
• The owner of a Credit Certificate understands that he/she will be required to provide an alternate form of payment before being allowed to travel if Credit Certificates are used for payment in violation of these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.
• Mileage Plan™ Miles and elite-tier qualifying miles may be accrued on tickets purchased with a Credit Certificate, subject to the Mileage Plan™ Conditions of Membership.
• Alaska Airlines reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions from time to time in their sole discretion.
