Reduced rate travel policy

Travel agent reduced rate space-available AD90SA transportation policies and procedures

Alaska Airlines provides eligible agency locations with unlimited AD90SA space-available, reduced rate transportation to agency personnel after having been IATA-appointed for at least 6 months. Eligible agency personnel must be employed on a full-time basis for at least 1 year at an appointed location. A valid and current IATAN and IATA Travel Agent Identification Card is required. It is the responsibility of the travel agent to ascertain whether or not their IATAN and IATA card and current and not expired.

Travel is valid on Alaska Airlines operated flights as well as Alaska Airlines flights operated by Horizon or SkyWest Airlines. This benefit is not available on charter flights or other codeshare carrier flights.

Stopovers, circle trip, and open jaw itineraries are permitted. AD90 space available travel benefits apply to eligible agency personnel only and are not valid for spouse or companion.

The 10% fare paid will be computed off of the refundable Y-Class fare (US, Canada, or Mexico). Travel is authorized in coach class only. Listing or upgrades to First Class and Premium class are not allowed.

A minimum fare of $25 one way or $50 round trip will be charged.

Ticketing
  1. Call our inside sales desk available 24 hours a day at 1-800 327-2755. Flight listings can only be made by calling the Alaska Airlines inside sales desk directly. Listing or ticketing cannot be made through any CRS (automated) system.
  2. Identify yourself as a retail travel agent traveling on a space available basis. Your "reduced rate travel code" is AD90SA.
  3. You will need to provide your full name, date of birth, gender, IATA and IATAN number in order for the reservation agent to list and ticket.
  4. Provide the reservations agent with your desired flights(s) and date(s).
  5. AD90SA listings must be ticketed at the time of the listing. A credit card payment will be required to complete the listing and ticketing process.
Itinerary Changes and Cancellations
  1. For assistance with electronically ticketed coupons, call our inside sales desk available 24 hours a day at 1-800-327-2755.
  2. Unused, electronic coupons can be refunded to the original form of payment.
  3. New travel will be listed and ticketed using the Ticketing guidelines above.
