Charles M. Schulz, creator of beloved Peanuts and Santa Rosa resident, is immortalized at a museum and research center that bears his name. Among the Schulz memorabilia are the animator's relocated office and a number of original creations and doodles. Make it a point to view Morphing Snoopy, a layered display that shows the transformation of Schulz's childhood dog, Spike, to the world-famous Snoopy.
