The Burbank Aviation Museum is an all volunteer, nonprofit, community effort. It was established in 1991 by a group of citizens who wanted to recognize and preserve local aviation history, and is home to numerous historic aircraft.

The Gordon Howard Museum is actually a collection of historical structures and displays. The centerpiece is a quaint Victorian home built in 1887. In addition to this well-preserved home, there's a memorabilia building with an aviation display, a vintage-vehicle building, a salon and reconstructed 19th-century rooms.

Vibrant colors and scents of flowering plants, statuesque fountains and meandering paths through soft grass are all found on the 2.5 acres of Pickwick Gardens. In addition to nature, Pickwick offers a skating rink and bowling alley. The rink is in a full-size, state-of-the-art arena that even offers lessons to the uninitiated. The bowling alley is a local favorite that stays open until 1:00am on Friday and Saturday nights.

Street parking in the area is limited but can be found on surrounding side streets such as Bob Hope and Riverside Drive.
