Drop in Basketball in Burbank
Olive Recreation Center was built in 1942. It was built with joint funds from the City of Burbank and federal government and used as a United States Organization (USO) Headquarters during World War II. After the War, the City of Burbank purchased the contents of the building and took over the operation of the facility.

Join outdoors for a guided walk in Eaton Canyon Natural Area. This is geared toward the family, including small children, and everyone is welcome. Walking shoes, sunscreen, water, and a hat are recommended. The walk is free to the public. Meet in front of the building.

Smack the dimples off the ball with a long drive or finesse it into the hole via a well-placed putt. At DeBell Golf Course, a mere bunker shot from downtown Burbank, golf enthusiasts find a quick retreat from city life. It's a public course, but the grounds are so well-maintained you'd swear it was private. For those who just want a quick game, DeBell also offers a 9-hole, par-3 course.

Learn to Play Golf
Learn to Play golf in the pictures Altadena Golf Course which originally opened as an 18 hole private county club in 1910. Due to financial difficulties as a result of The Great Depression of 1932 the original club was sold in 1945. The county acquired sixty acres of the property and redesigned and built a par 36, 3000 yard nine hole facility.
