The Bluebird Theater was built in 1913 and originally named after the prominent Denver grocer and druggist, John Thompson. The theater was renamed in 1922 and became an important part of the community. The theater was also initially a movie house and went through various phases over the years. In 1994, Chris Swank and a business partner invested in the Bluebird and it re-opened as a mecca for music that you know today. The theater is laid out in tiers with a balcony overlooking the entire space and is a great place to experience live music in Denver.

Cherry Creek Shopping Center is a lavishly appointed shopping center in the heart of Denver. With a total of 160 shops, restaurants and services, Cherry Creek is Denver's premier shopping destination and one of the top tourist attractions in town. Situated in the Red Rocks country 17 miles southwest of Denver on Highway 285, The Fort is a true replica of Bent's Fort, the first American community west of the Mississippi and rendezvous of Kit Carson & other "Mountain Men". The nine dining rooms, seating 350, are white plastered over adobe. Unusual but hearty dishes, typical of the early West, are provided from open grills.
