The Fresno Art Museum is a great cultural experience for art appreciation while the Meax Home and the Kearney Mansion Museum's offer a snapshot of Fresno's early years of Victorian homes and to the area's agricultural history. For some outdoor fun take the kids to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo or there is also the beautiful Woodward Regional Park which offers a Japanese Garden, fenced dog park, two-mile equestrian trail, exercise par course, three children's playgrounds and a lake. A unique experience is the Forestiere Underground Gardens where you can explore a hand-built network of underground rooms, courtyards and passageways reminiscent of the ancient catacomb. For live entertainment head to the Save Mart Center and take in a basketball game or see a Cirque du Soleil performance.
