Kauai, Hawaii Overview

Beautiful Kauai is the most northwestern of Hawaii's major islands. Nicknamed the Garden Island, it is covered with lush greenery and tropical plants that are watered regularly by the abundant rainfall. Kauai is the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands, and has been changed the most by erosion. The erosion has resulted in fascinating natural wonders such as Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali Coast. As a consequence of its age, Kauai also has more miles of sandy coastline than the other Hawaiian Islands, making it an ideal destination for visitors looking to enjoy the famous beaches and wild jungle terrain.

Kauai's beautiful scenery and rich culture make it ideal for enjoying a traditional luau and sunset dinner. Adventure types will love the Kipu Falls Zipline Safari, and the downhill Bicycle Tour of Waimea Canyon, while those looking to explore the beautiful ocean and rivers will love taking a snorkel expedition, taking a sea kayak tour, paddling the Kauai jungle streams, or taking private surf lessons and learning to catch the perfect Hawaiian wave. Visitors who want to see Kauai from the sky can take in the breathtaking views on an Island air tour.

Kauai's pristine beaches and lush tropical environment make it the perfect destination for visitors who want a traditional, relaxing Hawaiian experience. Whether its golfing in Lihue, or touring the Waimea Canyon and Wailua River, Kauai has what you're looking for. Come down and see for yourself!
