King Salmon, Alaska Overview
King Salmon serves as the main gateway to Katmai National Park. Often overshadowed by the state's more famous Denali National Park, Katmai is equally as rugged and beautiful, with a vast area, the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes, shaped by volcanic activity.
