Cafe Capri

Caffe Milano
Located in downtown La Paz, Caffe Milano offers Italian cuisine in a restored building over a hundred years old. Rancho Viejo
Rancho Viejo (Old Ranch) is an upscale and popular taco restaurant near the southwest end of the malecon. Sit outdoors at a wooden picnic table and watch the taquero prepare traditional Mexican tacos de carne asada (grilled, chopped beef) and tacos del pastor (flame-roasted pork). The fragrant smoke of juicy meat on the grill mixes with colorful light to create a warm friendly atmosphere. Garnish your taco with sliced cucumber, radishes, shredded cabbage, and fresh salsas. On the back patio of the old stucco building, tables and wooden chairs create a more intimate dining area under a palapa roof. Breakfasts include omelets and hotcakes, while the lunch and dinner menu includes T-bone steak, grilled chicken, and fish. Although tacos are available only at night, regular menu items are available 24 hours a day, making Rancho Viejo one of La Paz's few restaurants that never closes.

Trattoria La Pazta
Located in front of the Hotel Mediterrane, La Pazta has a sophisticated Mediterranean look, with modern art on the walls and a window to the kitchen where the Chef can be observed preparing each order. Wood ovens bake homemade pizza and lasagna adding a cozy rustic charm and the salad is purportedly the freshest in La Paz. Exotic and creative seafood dishes are also on the menu, such as, for instance, squid in wine sauce. Speaking of wine, the wine list is thorough and exhaustive with Baja California wine being a particular favorite. Service is attentive and conscientious. In addition to the normal dinner hours, a daytime cafe offers breakfast or a simple to go order of espresso and croissants.
