Cafeteria Chantilly is located on the south side of the zócalo. It serves delicious comida corrida, is reasonably priced, has good coffee and is popular and recommended.

Colima Bay Cafe
Just past Portofino is the Colima Bay Cafe. This was once part of the Carlos and Charlie's it is still owned and operated by the original manger and owner. The food is Mexican style and the service is professional. Late at night the DJ cranks up the volume so if you want to go for conversation go early or even better go for lunch.

El Caribe Restaurant
El Caribe Restaurant features a menu specializing in seafood but also serves chicken and beef. Enjoy a meal or even breakfast on Sundays at El Caribe on the beach.

El Duende Swim-Up Bar
Located at the hotel's main pool, enjoy the most refreshing tropical drinks.

El Fogon
This local favorite is considered one of the best Mexican restaurants in Manzanillo. The restaurant serves unique and traditional Mexican foods in a beautiful garden location. This is a must-see destination for fans of Mexican cuisine.

El Marino
El Marino sits on the beach and serves up excellent seafood. They offer a lunch special daily called the comida corrida for only $2.50. Owner Sergio Montiel Zavaleta offers more discounts and other cheap specials.

El Oasis Restaurante
The popular and classy restaurant El Oasis offers a distinctive dining experience. With its exclusive beachfront setting, rustic, yet elegant furnishings and relaxed dining under a breezy, thatched-roof palapa, El Oasis restaurant promises to become "the hottest place on the beach." El Oasis believes in a "farm-to-table" approach to their international cuisine. It is this insistence on freshness that makes El Oasis one of the premier restaurants in the city. Hamburguesia Juanito's
Expat John Correy's hideaway acts as Manzanillo's unofficial American Embassy. Yankees watch football on ESPN, check their e-mail, or savor a burger and curiously sweet fries (a result of the high starch content in Mexican potatoes), while speaking in their native tongue.

La Casita
La Casita features tortas and hamburgers. A torta is a Mexican-style sub - a torta cubana, for example. Torta Cubana has a choice of milanesa or breaded pork, dorada or grilled meat, adobado or spicy brushed grilled meat, with ham, cheese, onion, bacon, green pepper, lettuce, tomato, avocado and dressing inside a home-made bread roll. Diners may also try other dishes such as hamburgers and hot dogs.

La Toscana
While Manzanillo is filled with delicious restaurants, La Toscana is the place to go for a special meal. Right on the beach with beautiful views of Manzanillo Bay, La Toscana serves incredibly fresh seafood with a bit of French flair. Reservations are recommended because of its popularity and limited seating, but like everything else in Manzanillo, the atmosphere is casual and comfortable.

Las Hadas Piano Lounge
Top-shelf bar, gentle piano music. Great place for relaxing, martini's are the house specialty.

Los Delfines
Exceptional seafood - most notably the deep-fried whole red snapper - is served in a thatched pavilion that juts into the ocean like the prow of a yacht. Request a table by the water, toss the fish head over the rail, and watch the water churn as angelfish pick it clean.

L'Recife
In March you can watch the whale migration from a table in the palapa, poised high above L'Recife. Even if the rocky cliffside location weren't so dramatic, the chateaubriand - stuffed with shrimp, wrapped in bacon, and slathered in mango sauce - would be worth the half-hour drive from the Santiago Peninsula. Do as the locals do and bring your swimsuit: diners are invited to take their dessert between dips in the nearby cliff-top pool.
