Alli and I
Alli and I is an acoustic/pop act from Lincoln, Nebraska. Although at the heart of the project it's just Andrew Standley and his six-string acoustic, Alli; you may catch them as a duo, trio, quartet, or even a quintet. Regardless of the musical lineup, one thing for sure is that you're going to hear heartfelt stories shining through, in a digital age full of computer-voices, edited rhythms, and cliche lyrics. Alli and I is more than that, and their new album, Imaginary Hearts, is more than just a dozen songs on a disc; it's a collection of twelve hand written stories that are meant to be told.

Jesus Christ Superstar
Jesus Christ Superstar is a 1970 rock opera or rock musical, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. The musical started as a rock opera concept album before its first staging on Broadway in 1971. The musical is loosely based on the Gospels's accounts of the last week of Jesus's life, beginning with the preparation for the arrival of Jesus and his disciples in Jerusalem and ending with the crucifixion. It highlights political and interpersonal struggles between Judas Iscariot and Jesus that are not in the Bible narratives.

Self Defense Family
Self Defense Family started as a way to kill time for Albany musicians already involved in full-time bands. Having spent time in heavier bands, the initial End of a Year line-up was interested in trying something more overtly melodic. Taking their name from an Embrace song, the band's original sound was highly influenced by the Revolution Summer-era DC bands. The band recorded a boombox demo to give out at their first show, which took place at SUNY Albany.
