Raiders of the Lost Ark
Raiders of the Lost Ark is possibly the most perfectly crafted adventure movie of all time. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas combined forces to pay tribute to their childhood love for action serials, cleverly paying homage to the genre while expanding the concepts of what can be done on film. No one can forget Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, and the practical special effects wizardry used in this movie are truly beautiful to behold. The Crest Theatre is proud to present this movie on 35mm film. A costume contest will take place before the film to allow the more adventurous types a chance to show off their awesomeness.
