AMARG (Boneyard) Tour
The Pima Air and Space Museum offers exclusive bus tours of the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARG), also known as the "Boneyard." The facility is located adjacent to the Museum at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Seats are available on a "first come first serve" basis. Please note: Tours are given Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays) and last approximately one hour and thirty minutes. Departure times are seasonal. Please call for current times.

Art in the Park
Tohono Chul Park is celebrating 25 years of Connecting Nature, Art and Culture. If the rich colors, textures and imagery of the Southwest put joy in your heart, then the exhibit venues at Tohono Chul Park are the place to celebrate! The Exhibit Hall rotates larger, multi-artist exhibitions while the Gallery focuses more on individual artists and smaller themed shows, and the seemingly secret Wells Fargo Gallery.

Biking to Starr Pass
For a fun and challenging bike ride, bike to Starr Pass. Take St. Mary's Road west for an intermediate two-hour loop in the Tucson Mountains. St. Mary's Road turns into Anklam Road as it curves and approaches the mountain. Turn south into Starr Pass Resort, left at the stop sign, and right on the next road to the trailhead. The trail takes you over Starr Pass with beautiful views of the valley.

Tohono Chul Park, is celebrating 25 years of Connecting Nature, Art and Culture. Whether you are a native Tucsonan or just passing through, there are avian sightings for all to enjoy at Tohono Chul Park during their Birds of Tohono Chul docent-led tours.

Carnival of Illusion

The Carnival of Illusion Magical Parlour Show presents national quality magic in an old-world setting and is limited to just 35 guests! Great for date nights, special celebrations and group events. Desert Initiative Project Exhibition features Heather Green, Greg Lindquist, and Chris McGinnis at the Main and South Galleries. This is a five-state collaboration about the desert regions of the Southwest, organized by ASU.

Family Friendly Highlights Tour
Guided by a docent, families learn together and participate in an engaging and exciting tour of featured works from the museum's permanent collections and special exhibitions. Each month focuses on a different theme and these 30 minute dialogues end with suggestions for how to learn more about original works of art on one's own.

Fernando Gallego and His Workshop - The Altarpiece from Ciudad Rodrigo
The 26 panels from the altarpiece of Ciudad Rodrigo comprise one of the most important groups of paintings produced in late 15th-century Spain by the artists Fernando Gallego and Master Bartolome (the latter virtually unknown, until now) and their workshops. Such "master painters" often commanded large, dynamic workshops with many apprentice artists and frequently joined together on monumental commissions like this cathedral altarpiece.
