The East Indian Cuisine which India Curry House serves is from Northern India. It is the food of the Moghuls. Guests may find that there is a difference in flavor from curries that are commonly accepted in this country, but which are not truly authentic. Curry itself is a mixture of many natural spices and the proportion of each determines flavor. The restaurant's dishes have been seasoned lightly, so as to please the North American palate, but if a guest wishes to sample very hot food, please ask the hostess.
Traditionally, East Indian food is eaten with fingers (one's natural knife and fork) but the restaurant does provide cutlery for those who do not wish to carry authenticity to the extreme.
