Coffee House Concerts
George Community Hall is going year-around, beginning in October 2011! Summer concerts will be held on the outdoor stage of the George Community Park.

Poetry Open Mic Nights - February
Everyone community-wide is welcome to come read his or her work or watch local poets (from beginners to experts) wow the crowd. The reading line-up is on a first come, first read basis. Readers are encouraged to sign-up beforehand at the Allied Arts office (or you can call the office to put your name on the list). Open Mic Nights will lead up to the 17th Annual Juried Poetry Contest and Reading. Winners receive prizes for their poetry and their poems are included in a professionally produced chapbook. Deadline for entries will be in February 2011 and the Coffeehouse Reading will be in April.

Rattlesnake Hills Vineyard Tour
This is a 90-minute tour of the vineyards of Rattlesnake Hills. Your guide will be a qualified winegrower or winemaker. Advanced reservations are a must.

The Fabulous Life
Every Thursday night come enjoy the performances of The Fabulous Drag Life Divas. These ladies strut their stuff to the hottest dance and R&B music. Each show offers a unique twist with a variety in costumes and make-up; it won't take long for you to discover who is your favorite girl. Must be 18 or older to attend.
