LaVonne's is a remote camp five miles from Kotzebue that allows people to participate in hands-on activities of native Eskimos. Visitors join local elders in placing fishing nets, preparing fresh-caught salmon and harvesting plants. The on-site cabins are rustic with outhouses as bathrooms.
