Everyone crossing an international border is required by the country of entry to produce evidence of citizenship. The information provided below applies only to citizens of the United States, Canada, and Mexico when traveling between these three countries.

Other documentation requirements may apply for citizens of other countries and for persons transiting through the United States, Canada, and Mexico to other countries.
