Old Idaho Penitentiary Historic Site
Dating back to 1870, the ‘Old Pen’ housed inmates for more than a century. Within the jail, visitors will find more than 30 historic structures, and a number of educational exhibits. Take a tour to see jail cells, the Gallows, and the Solitary Confinement area. The Boise Greenbelt
The Boise Greenbelt, which runs alongside the Boise River, connects a huge 850 acres of natural landscape. Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area
