While you can expect a personal and luxurious First Class experience regardless of whether you're flying Alaska or Hawaiian, the specific First Class amenities do vary across airlines.
To learn more about the First Class experience on Alaska Airlines,
To learn more about the First Class experience on Hawaiian Airlines,
As baggage fees can vary depending on the details of your itinerary, here is what you need to know:
If you're flying domestic:
The airline carrier you're flying with will be the airline baggage fees
that apply to you, regardless of what airline you purchased the ticket
from. This also applies for codeshare itineraries and rare instances
where your flight is changed from one airline carrier to another. For
example:
If you purchased an Alaska Airlines flight through Hawaiian Airlines or Alaska Airlines, and your flight was changed to a Hawaiian Airlines flight, then Hawaiian Airlines baggage fees would apply.
If you purchased a Hawaiian Airlines flight through Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines, and your flight was changed to an Alaska Airlines flight, then Alaska Airlines baggage fees would apply.
If you're flying international:
Similar to flying domestic, the airline carrier you're flying with will
be the airline baggage fees that apply to you, regardless of what
airline you purchased the ticket from. However, if you have a codeshare
itinerary (i.e. a trip with flights on two airline carriers), the
airline carrier
that covers the longest segment of your journey will
be the airline baggage fees that apply to you. For example:
If you're flying from Seattle to Honolulu on Alaska Airlines and you connect to a Honolulu to Kaua'i flight on Hawaiian Airlines, then you would pay the Alaska Airlines baggage fees.
If you're flying from Seattle to Honolulu on Alaska Airlines and you connect to a Honolulu to Tokyo flight on Hawaiian Airlines, you would pay the Hawaiian Airlines baggage fees as they represent the greatest segment of your itinerary.

We're excited to announce that we will maintain both beloved brands as we work together to deliver the care that we are both known for, increased benefits, a premium experience and even greater value across both Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines. While we begin the process of aligning the operations of both airlines, Alaska and Hawaiian will continue to operate as separate airlines with no immediate changes to our day-to-day operations. We will maintain separate websites, reservation systems and loyalty programs until later in the integration process—an extended process that can take up to 18 months.
Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines' classes of service will remain the same. Here are the main differences in each carrier's offerings:
In addition to the Main Cabin, Alaska Airlines also offers First Class and Premium Class service. Premium Class accounts for the seats with extra legroom at the front of the Main Cabin. As a guest in Premium Class, you will also receive priority boarding and complimentary beer, wine and spirits.
Hawaiian Airlines offers Extra Comfort seats, which include extra legroom, priority security screening (select airports), priority boarding and 110V power plugs. Free alcoholic drinks are not included as part of their offering.
Hawaiian Airlines also offers First & Business Classes. On two-aisle aircraft, these classes feature fully flat beds. On Hawaiian Airlines' Boeing 787 aircraft, you'll also have direct access to the aisle, a sliding door and a large HD TV screen.
In the event of a delay or cancellation, the airline that was scheduled to operate the delayed or canceled flight will issue you compensation and/or reimbursement for costs incurred.
