Alaska Airlines has been named the number 1 on-time major North American carrier for the sixth year in a row.
FlightStats Inc., which compiles on-time performance data on millions of flights each year ranked Alaska Airlines first. No other major North American airline has received the prestigious award more times since the Portland-based company launched its on-time awards program in 2009.
FlightStats publishes its On-Time Performance Services Awards annually and evaluates flight data from the top 10 North American airlines. To qualify as on-time, each flight must be completed within 15 minutes of its scheduled arrival.

The International Air Transport Association ranked Alaska Airlines platinum for its Fast Travel implementation, which recognizes airlines that are leading the industry in automating the check-in, boarding and baggage handling process and improving the travel experience for customers. FAA Diamond Award 2001 - 2014
Alaska Airlines has received the Federal Aviation Administration's Diamond Award for maintenance training excellence for 14 consecutive years. The Diamond Award, the FAA's most prestigious maintenance honor, recognizes Alaska's ongoing commitment to aircraft maintenance and training excellence. The FAA's William O'Brian Maintenance Technician Awards program began in 1991. It provides incentives for aircraft technicians to participate in initial and recurrent training, either on their own or in programs offered by their company. Alaska qualified for a Diamond Award when 100 percent of its aircraft technicians completed training last year.

Alaska was named in the top 100 of America’s Best Employers by Forbes.
The award is based on a survey of 20,000 American workers, who were asked how likely they would be to recommend their employer to someone else and whether they would recommend other employers in their industry. Alaska was one of only three airlines to make the list.

Corporate Equality Index
Alaska Air Group has received a perfect score of 100% on the 2015 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC).
The 2015 CEI rated 971 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community.
Alaska Airlines efforts in satisfying all of the CEI's criteria results in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.

Alaska Airlines was ranked in the top 10 airlines out of competing carriers from across the globe in the following criteria: customer service, performance, value and information technology.
