How we display fares at alaskaair.com
When you shop at alaskaair.com, we offer multiple shopping views so you can compare flights based on what's important to you.
Our default option is to shop by schedule. Your flights are ordered morning to evening, from shortest trip (nonstop) to longest trip (multiple connections and airlines). You can use the filters down the left side of the page to narrow down your choices.
If you have date flexibility and are just looking for lowest price, switch to low-fare calendar view, and we'll show you when the cheapest flights are available within 2 weeks of your selected dates.
We offer multiple fares for each flight, so you can choose between coach or First Class experience and different levels of flexibility. All of our fares include taxes and government imposed fees. Fees for optional or additional services, such as checking bags, meals for purchase, or unaccompanied minor service are not included in the fare, and will be charged separately at the time the service is utilized.

- Passengers are allowed one carry-on + one personal item. Overhead bin space is on a first-come, first-served basis. Elite Mileage Plan passengers keep Elite boarding status.
- Elite members do not receive preferred seating benefits. For flights booked on or after May 22, 2023, departing after July 19, 2023, elite members are eligible for same-day upgrade benefits with Saver fares 2 hours prior to departure. On all fares including Saver, elites receive bonus miles, baggage allowances, check-in benefits, and priority boarding. All other Saver fare rules and restrictions apply to MVP members.
- Our 24-hour cancelation policy applies to all fares. For Saver fare tickets purchased on or after July 19, 2023, Saver fares are eligible for a credit of 50% of the ticket value when canceled at least 14 days prior to departure of the first flight on the ticket. A difference in fare may apply to changes made to Main and First Class fares. A $50 fee applies to same-day confirmed changes.
- Miles are awarded on qualifying fares.
