At the airport
When you use a mobile boarding pass, you'll need to display it on your smartphone at several checkpoints:
- Checking bags:
Scan your mobile boarding pass for the customer service agent at the baggage check location.
- Security checkpoint:
Scan your mobile boarding pass at security and show proper identification to the TSA agent.
Scan your mobile boarding pass for the customer service agent before boarding the plane.
At each checkpoint, ensure the entire barcode is visible so that it scans properly. If the security checkpoint scanner cannot read your mobile boarding pass you will need to obtain a paper boarding pass from a kiosk or customer service agent at an Alaska Airlines ticket counter.
