Travel credits are issued when you change or cancel a non-refundable ticket. The ticket value can be held in ticket form, exchanged for a credit certificate or deposited into your wallet.
In order to use a credit certificate, you need both the certificate code and corresponding PIN. Credit certificates can be applied on the payment page or deposited into your wallet.
If you choose to have your ticket value exchanged for a credit certificate, you will receive an email from service@ifly.alaskaair.com with your certificate code an PIN.
If your credit certificate was issued on or before November 2, 2021, you will have received 2 separate emails from service@ifly.alaskaair.com. One will contain your certificate code, and the other will contain your PIN.

Alaska Airlines gift certificates are available in increments from $25 up to $500 USD. Certificates can be customized specifically for the recipient and the occasion, then delivered via email or printed and mailed. Best of all, our gift certificates do not expire.

The best way to keep track of gift and credit certificates is by depositing them directly into your wallet. You will need the code and associated PIN to deposit your certificate.
Gift certificates, credit certificates or wallet funds can be used on the payment page, after you have selected your flight itinerary and before submitting your credit card information.
Use wallet funds will display your balance if you are logged into your account.
Travel credits, whether kept in credit certificate form, or deposited into a wallet have an expiration date.
Credit certificates and expiring wallet funds must be used to purchase a new ticket before the expiration date passes. Travel can take place up to 11 months later, but the ticket must be purchased with the credit or funds before the expiration date.
If your travel credit was issued as a credit certificate, the expiration will be in the email you received..
If the travel credit was issued or deposited to a wallet, you can find the expiration date by logging into your account, selecting 'Wallet activity' from the left-hand navigation, and choosing 'Available funds' from the wallet drop-down list.
Discount codes and companion fare codes are used to reduce the fare of applicable new ticket purchases. Companion fares can only be redeemed at alaskaair.com or EasyBiz®. All other discount codes can be redeemed at alaskaair.com, EasyBiz, or our mobile app.
Discount and companion fare codes must be entered prior to searching for flights. Enter these codes into the field labeled Discount or companion fare code on the booking form.
