When is inflight Wi-Fi available?
The system is active, in most cases, at all times. As soon as you settle in, you can select a Wi-Fi pass or begin using our entertainment system. You’ll be able to use the internet all the way until you deplane at your destination.
There are a few infrequent instances when the system will be paused; these include during deicing, when traveling north of the Artic Circle and in parts of New Mexico. Also, during heavy rains storms, or when snow has accumulated on the top of the plane, service may be slow. If the system won’t be working for another reason, we’ll try to notify you before your flight so you can plan ahead.
