How to pre-order

By pre-ordering your food, you can choose a meal you're sure to love ahead of time so it's ready and waiting for you on your flight. Here's a few things to remember prior to pre-ordering:
- Pre-order is not available for guests traveling as part of a group booking.
- Pre-ordering is available through the Alaska mobile app or alaskaair.com 2 weeks to 20 hours prior to departure.
- If you change your flights, your meal choices won't transfer and you'll need to pre-order under your new reservation.
- Vegan and gluten free items are available for pre-order on most First Class flights. Meals are prepared in facilities that contain allergens, such as gluten and nuts. Please ask your flight attendant for more information on specific items.
Our in-flight dining is reaching new heights with carefully curated menus by James Beard award-winning Chefs, Brady Ishiwata Williams, the talent behind Seattle's renowned Tomo restaurant, and Brandon Jew, executive chef and owner of Mister Jiu's.
Enjoy gourmet entrees inspired by Chef Brady's Pacific Northwest roots and Japanese heritage on flights between Seattle and John F Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, and Ronald Reagan Washington International Airport.
Dishes inspired by Chef Brandon's Bay Area background and Chinese American foundation can be enjoyed on flights between San Francisco and John F Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, and Ronald Reagan Washington International Airport.
Each dish is sure to pack a punch with regional ingredients and local, seasonal flavors, so please pre-order your in-flight meal at least 20 hours in advance to account for preparation time.

Enjoy breakfast options served from 5:00 am - 10:00 am, lunch and dinner options served from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, or fresh meals or snacks served on Redeye flights from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am.
All meal offerings are subject to availability on every flight and may vary depending on distance traveled, departure location, or arrival destination. For an optimum experience, please try to pre-order in-flight meals ahead of time. Due to FAA regulations, alcohol brought through security or purchased at the airport cannot be consumed onboard the aircraft at any time.
