Boeing 737-400

Flying aboard one of our Boeing 737-400s is becoming a growing novelty. The 144-seat jet offers comfortable seating, inflight Wi-Fi and inflight entertainment via Alaska Beyond Entertainment. By the end of 2017 these aircraft will be retired from the airline’s fleet, replaced by more fuel efficient Boeing 737-900ERs, which carry 25 percent more passengers on the same amount of fuel. Replacing older, less efficient aircraft is a core component of Alaska’s strategy to reduce its environmental footprint.
