Traveling with infants and children

We know that traveling with kids can be an adventure. To help keep the adventure fun for both you and your child passenger, please carefully review our policies and recommendations for traveling with infants and children.

To keep infants and children comfortable during travel, we recommend bringing small comfort items in your carry-on bag, such as small snacks, a security blanket, a favorite pillow, small toys, coloring books and crayons and small electronic devices.

Refer to our Onboard guide for details on electronic items allowed on the flight.

TSA security screening

Everyone must be screened at the security checkpoint, including infants and children. We strongly recommend visiting Traveling with children "This indicates a link to an external site that may not meet accessibility guidelines."  on the TSA website for suggestions to make clearing security easier — from the screening process to traveling with children with disabilities. The TSA provides information regarding their liquid limitations for baby formula, breast milk, juice, and other liquids.

Car seats fly free

We will transport your child's car seat and stroller free of charge as checked baggage. You can check these items with your other baggage, or wait until you reach the gate area.
