*All members who have one million lifetime flight miles on Alaska and Hawaiian flights are guaranteed Atmos Gold status each year, and have the option to extend the higher of that status, or a higher earned status if applicable, to one companion who resides at the same home address. The companion benefit is awarded for a benefit year running February 1 through January 31 and is nontransferable. Your companion must have an Atmos Rewards account in their own name, cannot already be another Million Miler's companion, and cannot be sharing status with a companion of their own. If your companion earns a higher status, your account status will not change. Once a companion is designated, the designation renews automatically each benefit year. Members who reach one million miles may designate their first companion at any time. After that, you may change your companion once per benefit year. Changes take effect February 1 and must be received by January 15 to apply to the upcoming benefit year; your current companion keeps status through January 31.
