Our Transfer Miles program allows you to take miles from your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan™ account and transfer them into the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account of a friend or family member. You can transfer 1,000 to 30,000 miles in increments of 1,000 miles at a cost of $10.00 per 1,000 miles, plus a $25.00 processing fee per transaction.

To transfer miles, you'll need a My Account profile, the Mileage Plan number and name of the recipient as it appears in their Mileage Plan account, and a valid major credit card.

Transfer Miles Terms and Conditions: To transfer miles, you must have an activated My Account profile. A 1,000-mile minimum transfer is required and the maximum amount you may transfer per transaction is 30,000 miles. The maximum miles you can transfer in to or out of an account per calendar year is 100,000 miles. Miles cost $10.00 per 1,000 miles plus a $25 processing fee per transaction (Canadian residents will be charged applicable taxes). Transfer Miles are not refundable or reversible and do not count toward MVP® and MVP® Gold status. In most cases, miles will post to your account immediately but may take up to 72 hours after the transaction is complete. All prices stated in U.S. Dollars.
