For a smooth international or domestic trip, make sure you have the right documents, understand current travel requirements, and know what to expect during security screenings. Here's what you need to know before heading to the airport.

TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID Program

Fly through the airport even faster with new TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID, now available at select airports.


To be eligible, you must have a valid known traveler number and passport save to your profile.


  1. Sign in to your Mileage Plan™ account.

  2. Select Profile and Settings from the drop–down menu in the top left of your account page.
  3. In the About you section, click on Travel documents.

  4. Select Add passport info and complete all the required fields.

  5. Select Add known traveler number and submit your information.

  6. Select Add TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID, check “opt in” and save your selection to breeze through the airport.
