I have a medical condition. What medical devices can I use during my flight?

I am allergic to peanuts. Will there be peanuts served during my flight?

We realize some of our customers may have allergies to peanuts. Please visit our peanut allergy section for more information to ensure your comfort and safety.

Will there be power outlets on my flight?

In-seat power, featuring both standard and USB outlets, is available on nearly all our planes, including all transcontinental and Hawaii flights.

What can I bring in my carry-on bag?

All carry-on baggage, laptop computers and electronic devices must be stowed under a seat or in an enclosed overhead bin upon boarding and prior to landing, as directed.

I'll be flying with my young kids. What do I need to know?

Visit our traveling with infants and children section for information about infant fares, traveling with lap infants under the age of two, and additional carry-on allowances. Note: Child car seats must bear the FAA approved sticker.

My pet will be flying with me in the cabin. What do I need to know?

Pets must remain in a closed pet carrier for entire flight, and the carrier must be stowed for taxi, take-off, and landing. Visit our traveling with pets section for more information about flying with a pet in the cabin.

Can I bring my own alcohol onboard?

Alcohol may not be consumed onboard an aircraft unless it has been provided by a flight attendant. No alcohol may be served to any person who appears to be intoxicated, or who is under 21 years of age.

Which restrooms am I allowed to use on the plane?

Guests should use the restroom in their assigned cabins, and are required to do so on inbound international flights; exceptions may be made for guests with special needs.

Can I pack my firearm in my carry-on bag?

Firearms are not permitted in the cabin of any Alaska Airlines flight. Visit our transporting firearms section for more information.

I have my own seat belt extension. May I use it?

You may only use seat belt extensions provided by Alaska Airlines.

I need more legroom. Can I stop the seat in front of me from reclining?

We don't allow devices that restrict seats from reclining,

I want to pack food to bring along on my flight. Is that okay?

Self-heating meals or beverages are prohibited; other foods are okay.
