Pretzels and a tablet on a backseat tray table

Inflight entertainment

We offer two options for inflight entertainment: our streaming entertainment system - Alaska Beyond™ Entertainment allows you to watch free movies & TV shows on your own device – and, on our longer flights, our premium inflight entertainment tablets are available for rent and loaded with movies, TV shows and more.

Our inflight entertainment tablet

On most flights over 3.5 hours long, you can rent our inflight entertainment tablet. As our premium entertainment option, they’re always free in First Class and available for rent in the Main Cabin. Each tablet is pre-loaded with the newest movies you’ll find onboard, plus TV shows, music, games and digital magazines.

Our inflight entertainment tablets include:

  • Movies and TV shows - Each tablet is preloaded with over two dozen new release and classic films, as well as TV shows. Some of the movies are so new, they’re still in theaters.
  • Xbox games - Rack up points playing one of your favorite games. Our tablets offer Microsoft’s classic Solitaire, as well as Microsoft Sudoku, Minesweeper, Mahjong, Jigsaw and Treasure Hunt.
  • Digital magazines - Catch up on some reading with digital magazines powered by Next Issue. Titles include National Geographic, Us Weekly and Wired, among others.
  • Music - Tune out with our custom playlists. We also feature two albums from Sub Pop, the Seattle-based independent record label that introduced the world to the likes of Nirvana, Soundgarden and The Shins.
  • Kids Zone - Each month we offer a selection of kids programing in its own dedicated area.
  • Internet Access - Forgot your own device or prefer to use ours? Each device automatically connects to our Gogo Inflight Internet offering instant access to AlaskaAir.com for free, or the entire internet for a separate fee. (See Gogo Inflight Wi-Fi for more info)
