Earning on Cathay Pacific

Economy Cabin: Earn actual flight miles* flown in Y, H, or K classes of service. Earn 50% of actual flight miles* flown in L, M or V classes of service.

Premium Economy Cabin: Earn actual flight miles* flown in W, E, or T classes of service plus 10% Bonus Miles on flights taken on or after April 1, 2012.

Business Class Cabin: Earn actual flight miles* flown in J, C, D, or I classes of service, plus 25% Bonus Miles.

First Class Cabin: Earn actual flight miles* flown in F or A classes of service, plus 50% Bonus Miles.

Elite Qualifying Flight Miles: No

*Earn 500 minimum miles on flights less than 500 miles. Actual miles flown = 1 mile per flight mile flown. Miles may not be earned for tickets flown in G, N, O, P, R, Q or S classes of service. Some deeply discounted, and industry fares are ineligible to earn miles.

To qualify for mileage accrual, please note that your flights must fall within the eligible flight number range below and your flight must be marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific.

To ensure flight credit, the two letter airline code (CX) must precede the flight number (for example, CX XXXX) on your ticket receipt or boarding pass.

Add A Mileage Plan™ Number to an Existing Reservation: If you are traveling on Cathay Pacific and would like to enter your Mileage Plan™ number in your reservation, please call them at 1-800-233-2742 from the US, 1-800-268-6868 from Canada, or 852-2747-1888 from elsewhere.

Request Mileage Credit: Allow 4 to 6 weeks for miles to post. Missing miles must be requested within 12 months of original flight date. To request mileage credit for flights already taken, email us a copy of your ticket receipt and at least one boarding pass to mileage.plan@alaskaair.com.
