All awards are based on travel within the Continental United States or between the Continental U.S. and Canada. The Continental U.S. includes the lower 48 states as well as the State of Alaska, unless otherwise specified.
The purchaser of an award ticket is responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and checked baggage charges imposed by the transporting carrier(s) or U.S. or international authorities.
A $12.50 (USD) nonrefundable fee will be collected per person, each way, for awards booked on a partner airline.
Alaska Airlines
- Alaska Airlines Awards are valid on flights operated by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, PenAir between Anchorage and Dutch Harbor, and SkyWest Flight Series 3450-3499. Complimentary Upgrades are not allowed with award travel (including the Money & Miles Award).
- Money and Miles Awards give you the ability to reduce the price of your ticket by up to 50% while still earning Mileage Plan™ Miles - which count towards Elite Status. Available only at alaskaair.com
- Super Saver Awards offer excellent redemption values with limited availability compared to other award types.
- Choice Awards offer Coach travel at mileage redemption levels below unrestricted awards, but with much greater availability than Super Saver Awards.

Kenmore Air
Effective April 1, 2013, Kenmore Air is no longer a Mileage Plan™ partner. Existing award travel, and award travel booked by March 31, 2013, will be honored for travel through February 28, 2014. Award travel on Kenmore Air cannot be booked or changed after March 31, 2013.
